Work package 1: Project coordination

Lead: Reykjavík University

The objectives of this WP are to ensure the achievement of the project objectives on time, within budget and with a high degree of success. Project management will monitor task and WP progress and revise reports and deliverables. Periodic management and financial reporting will ensure that the project is proceeding as planned, and that contingencies are mitigated. Quality assurance will be monitored to specify and guarantee the correct completion of project objectives. Risk management will be monitored by WP leads but supported by the project coordination. Legal and ethical coordination and management will be carried out by this work package.

Innovation management will keep track of exploitable outcomes and guide them towards marketable technological solutions or services.

All communication both internal and external will be coordinated by this WP, with regular meetings and conferences.

Assist all other management bodies. Ensure smooth communication in the consortium and project progress oversight in its technical, financial and planning aspects. Manage the overall day-to-day project coordination.
