The University of Queensland

The University of Queensland (UQ) is one of Australia’s leading research and teaching institutions ranked 42nd by the US News Global Ranking (2020), 47th by the QS World University Rankings (2020), and 54th by the Academic Ranking of World Universities (2019). UQ has over 53,000 students of whom more than 18,000 are international students from 134 different countries. The School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering participating in SLEEP REVOLUTION has research focus in biomedical engineering, data science, human-centred computing, artificial intelligence, photonics, and microwaves as well as in power and energy technologies. It is one of the largest schools in UQ with several thousand BSc/MSc students, over 200 PhD students and 75 academics. The School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering is very well resourced, boasting of excellent experimental and computational facilities that are well suited for research related to SLEEP REVOLUTION.
