Benedikt Hólm Þórðarson

In my B.Sc. I studied a variety of subjects, including game design, computer networking, computer security, and the Internet of Things (IOT), alongside working as a teachers assistant in Computer Networks. In my M.Sc. I worked on analyzing sleep using machine learning  methods, and developed an algorithm that was capable of locating individual respiratory cycles in a sleep recording. During my M.Sc. I also worked as a teaching assistant for Computer Networks, Computer Security, and acted as a systems administrator for a departmental computer.  In my Ph.D. I am continuing my research into computerised sleep research, and focusing on methods of adaptive segmentation, and analysis of variable-length signals.

Currently I am working as a systems administrator for the sleep revolution high-performance cluster.
